Joyce Chen is a force of transformation—equal parts strategist, storyteller, and truth-teller. She works with high-impact executives, creative visionaries, and industry disruptors who aren’t here to play by the old rules. She partners with leaders who see what’s possible but need a powerful catalyst to bring it to life.
A former tech executive, Joyce spent decades leading in fast-paced, high-stakes environments—including as Global Head of Production at Meta. She’s worked with leaders at companies like Adobe, Apple, Airbnb, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Sony, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges at the top. But she’s not just about strategy—she helps leaders rewire how they think, make decisions, and lead with radical clarity and presence.
Joyce’s coaching is a masterful mix of deep empathy and incisive challenge. She doesn’t just shift perspectives—she dismantles outdated patterns, revealing the unconscious stories that hold leaders back. Her work is about more than leadership; it’s about self-liberation. She helps clients navigate uncertainty, step into their full power, and take radical responsibility for their impact.
Beyond coaching, Joyce is a storyteller at heart. In 2017, she co-directed Refugee, an award-winning documentary amplifying the journey of a West African refugee. The film won eight Best Documentary Short awards, became a two-time Academy Award qualifier, and premiered on Amazon Prime—proving that stories, when told with precision and heart, can change the world.
She holds a BS in Communication from Boston University and has studied fine arts at CalArts and Pasadena Art Center. A certified coach in The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership and an accredited Enneagram teacher, Joyce is a rare blend of business acumen, creative depth, and mastery in conscious leadership.
