Define: Genius
It’s the energy that flows effortlessly when you’re fully yourself — doing what you love, in a way that serves others and nourishes you.
Your natural essence expresses itself with ease, joy, and aliveness — where what you love to do is also what most serves the world.
Excerpt from the Book:
Genius equals juice. The more we live and work in our genius the more the juice of life is flowing through us into the world. As many have said, it is not our failure that we are most afraid of but rather our magnificence.

From Above the Line
By Me:
I commit to expressing my full magnificence, and to supporting and inspiring others to fully express their creativity and live in their zone of genius.
From below the Line
To Me:
I commit to holding myself back and not realizing my full potential by living in areas of incompetence, competence and excellence.
Practice It:
Step 1
Look back over your calendar from the last two weeks
and make a list of 25 activities you performed in the course of doing your job. Be very specific, e.g. weekly staff meeting, emailed boss updating him on latest client meeting, filled out expense report, client meeting with ABC Products, read report
on performance evaluation, had lunch with administrative
assistant, etc.
Put an arrow next to each activity.
- If your energy went up when you did the activity, put the arrow pointing up ↑
- If your energy was flat when you did the activity, make the arrow go horizontal →
- If your energy went down when you did the activity, put the arrow pointing down ↓
Step 2
Look at the amount of time you spent doing each activity
and assign a rough percentage to the amount of time you spent
with energy increasing activities, activities that left your energy
flat, and activities that decreased your energy.
